For the past year, Sven de Kok (musician and graduate of the Herman Brood Academy, guitar in hand but without a diploma) and Isa Cocco (actress, theater maker, and full-time chaos enthusiast, studying at ArtEZ) have formed the quirky cabaret duo VIES. Together, they combine all their creative madness into one and create music with a hefty dose of theater.
Their songs revolve around their friendship, the chaotic lives of twenty-somethings, and the everyday struggles they cheerfully navigate. They wrap it all up in a thick layer of humor—sometimes absurd, sometimes sharp, but always with a wink. With VIES, they celebrate life, including all the messy edges that secretly make it even more fun!
